    Over the past month and a half or so of on and off viewing I did something I had been meaning to do for a while now and waded through all three seasons of this famed series. Thought I'd share my thoughts because hey, blog.

    So, succinctly put:

    Pros-
    • Compelling setting and worldbuilding. Mysteries and truths worth pursuing.
    • The magic battles are generally exciting

    Since it seems like this topic being brought up and I've gotten past this preteen mental disease, here you are. XP

    4th Grade.

    So. I run a university anime club. I've also studied Japanese going on four years now. Even prior to starting Japanese, however, I could pronounce the languages' words correctly simply by listening to the anime I watched.

    It bugs the shit out of me when people so easily mispronounce stuff.

    There's a couple of students in my club. One of them is supposedly focusing on studying Japanese history. She's been to Japan for two weeks. Yesterday at our meeting, she said, ...
