Just Persona 5 things

First of all I must say something. My japanese language skill is bad. As in novice level bad. I can read all hiragana, katakana and maybe like 40-50 kanjis. And the sentence structure throws me off most of the time.

What I am getting at is that even with that reason above, I am still an idiot who plays JRPGs and VNs without understanding them. KHIIFM+ was fun, I must admit.1

Saying that, let's check what I read a week or so ago. Big images after the jump.

屋上の百合霊さん (Okujou no Yurirei-san, lit. Rooftop's yuri spirits) is the most recent VN from Liar Soft. If you can't guess it by its name, it's a girls love/Yuri VN. It hasn't come out yet but a demo was released on February the 8th. It's also quite fun.

Main tittle.

The story starts with Toumi Yuna, a first year in generic all girls high school one hundred something something. She is the rooftop being the loner that her archetype is when someone shouts at her to not throw away her life. Surprised by this, she sees a girl in a black uniform and a girl in a white uniform. After some joking around, the girls confess that they were joking about the whole suicide thing when they notice an insignificant detail. The girl can see them and hear them. And Yuna notices another insignificant detail: She can see through the mysterious girls. Of course Yuna does the sensible thing and runs away before the ghosts can introduce themselves.

Reminds me on Kyonko, actually.

She then arrives to her classroom where her classmate and probable love interest, Ano Fuji is. She of courses mentions that she had a bad dream when asked if she was alright/why did she looked that bad. She is then called to the rooftop by the ghosts in a really ghostly way.

Desu Bunny (kill me now)

Deciding that she doesn't have anythiing else to do, she goes to meeting them. The girl in black uniform is called Enoki Sachi and she was a third year student 80 years ago. The girl in white is Nagatani Megumi and she was a first year student 30 years ago. Both like girls and they love each other. They actually have a sprite of them hugging each other, which I forgot to screenshot of course. Anyway, they explain all of this to Yuna and then they tell her to do them a favor, to help a girl who is trying to confess to her sempai2. Naturally Yuna is not thrilled but she is dragged by Sachi and then explained the situation. The girl, a Maki Seina, is waiting for a chance to leave a love letter but can't do so. So Yuna decides to use an easy trick to distract everyone. Shout that there is a dog in the school (wut) which makes every girl leave the classroom to try to see it (it worked?!)

There was also some Megumi Persuasion.

Having helped the girl, Sachi lets Yuna free from her presence. After seeing Seina leave with a happy expression, murmuring "I did it!", Yuna decides to leave.

Yuna arrives home and is greeted by Komano Hina, her housemate I believe, who speaks in monotone, short words, is emotionless and does things like this.

She is awesome that's what I'm saying.

Anyway the next day, Yuna goes to the rooftop and finds the ghost being their ghostly selves. After some talking around, Sachi reveals her plan to Yuna: creating Yuritopia. (...) And for that they need Yuna's help to play as the cupid. She accepts not really enthusiastic by the whole thing. And so Yuna becomes the Cupid for girls love with Sachi and Megumi as her helpers.

There is more to the demo but this is large enough so I'll leave it for later.
