All I got to say is some nice alcohol. My 45 some year old dad next to me wasted and all the while playing a some nice 1980s power metal on a record player. As well as sporadically playing some 60s music on a jukebox.

Haven't laughed this hard in ages. Best part is listening to the stories I've forgotten as a kid. I feel this kind of bonding is what new years is all about and hope everyone gets a chance to do so with someone at least once in their lives.
