So today I received the most annoyingly simply and difficult problem ever. It's basically a puzzle game that I already have the answer for--I'm number crunching the Ephemeris Problem for Vesta. It's basically a ton of algebra, with the only problem being accuracy. And with my inclination to not like programming, I'm left to the tedium of carrying up to 9 significant figures through my calculations (just 6 post decimal point, so with up to three prior that point...), lest my final answer diverge ...
For those who don't know me very much, I'm an avid(though casual) player of a TCG game called Weiss Schwarz. It's a game producd by Bushiroad which incorporates many various series into the game (eg, F/SN, F/HA, F/z, Persona (3, 4, 4 the animation), Melty Blood, etc), allowing you to play decks based on your favourites. The two sad things about it though, is that the game itself is 100% in Japanese, forcing you to either know Japanese, or refer to online, maybe printed translations; and that ...
About a fraction of what I actually think of ends up written, just by sheer amount. I have a walk to and from my school, and being a punctual kind of person, I usually set up to have plenty of time to get there, so I end up kind of meandering and my thoughts wander. And come up with things. Lots of things. I have a lot of ideas, and some of them I'll joke around about on the fic threads, but a lot of them don't make it public because I'm still trying to figure out either how to ...
As part of the Grail Works setting's overall theme, I always try to keep some balance in mind. Kurai's a decent example - he has lots of power, granted, but some fairly severe psychological and philosophical restrictions, as well. He can't use most weapons, doesn't like 21st-century Earth, and really ought to destroy at least a third of the cast on principle. Being somewhat enlightened, he can tolerate the latter aspect - but it means that overall, I can't see him staying around ...
First of all I must say something. My japanese language skill is bad. As in novice level bad. I can read all hiragana, katakana and maybe like 40-50 kanjis. And the sentence structure throws me off most of the time. What I am getting at is that even with that reason above, I am still an idiot who plays JRPGs and VNs without understanding them. KHIIFM+ was fun, I must admit.1 Saying that, let's check what I read a week or so ago. Big images after the jump. 屋上の百合霊さん ...
