...Hmm, sufficiently Nasu-y?

So, in starting to write Shared Resonance, I sort of decided to begin things near the end of the story and then use subsequent chapters to tell "how we got here." Whenever I'm writing, I always find myself fighting with linear narrative conventions because starting a story in a linear fashion is oftentimes boring and predictable. So then I watch something like KnK, or Haruhi, or Baccano! and always enjoy how they mess around with that. Obviously, not everything is gonna work out that perfectly, but I really appreciate stuff that tries to think a little outside the box.
Anyway, it sort of led me to the conclusion that I can also hook people in a different way beyond that too, at least on BL: I can start the story with porny stuff instead of having to lead up to it. I'll probably do a censored version to put up on FFN since starting with something like that could potentially earn some trouble--most people don't care, but since FFN technically has the no porn rule, I only post stuff where porny bits are buried in the narrative and are not the focus.
But yeah, doing it this way, I actually also thought of something that gives the sex some plot relevance. Originally, it was just going to be an emotional thing--which, you know, is fine, but, well, I also kind of get to a point where if I'm gonna write porn, I wanna do something with it that I haven't in other stories. Difficult to do when everything is just, you know, vanilla sex.
So, we've got Sion, right. And she's slowly turning into a Dead Apostle. DAs consume blood for human genetic material to slow the breakdown of their own body, right. She doesn't want to do that, which is part of her deal in Melty Blood. Right, right. So, since it is literally for the "genetic material"...uh...it makes sense that a small source of human genetic material other than blood might help...right?
...
Also helps with the later plot point if this part is believable. So...yeah.An excuse for more porn than I thought to include initially is good, right?
