And I finally understand why Final Fantasy is so addicting.

After some pestering convincing from my friends, I decided to start playing the Final Fantasy games. I'm currently at the first, playing the GBA remake and I must say: I can't stop playing, this is awesome.

Just awakened the elf prince and got the special key from him, but I'm going to stop for today. Apparently I level grind way too much since the walkthrough I'm following says "you should be around level 8~9 for now" in the boss battle agaisnt the dark elf king and I was already at level 18, lol.

    Which is one of the reasons why I don't play RPG games. I hate falling into the corporation's mass scheme.

    FF has an awesome battle style that I always liked so much in games. Too bad I don't have any console for it.
    PSP and iOS owners can have fun with similar battle style in Crimson Gem Saga though. :C

    You could always emulate the first 6 on almost literally anything made in the past 10 years. If it was made in the past 7 you can emulate the first 9, and if it is powerful enough you can emulate everything besides 13.

    if oyu have a PSP, you could download the old parts in the PSN store right? im not usre which ones there are though, i only hearrd of the 7th (which is good and all, but kind of overrated. but it IS awesome, even though its overratedness makes the hipster in all of us cringe). the best part, in my opinion, is the number 6 though. (i havent played them all though.)

    I know this feeling so well.
    Final Fantasy II is more of a pain, IMHO, though, since it doesn't even have a level system. :/
