A sunday at a Cat Exhibition

This sunday I had some fun at a Cat Exhibition. I met friends whom I hadn't seen for a long time, like years, and also friends from college that are now graduated professionals and were working at this event as well.
They were making an earlier celebration for the Vets Day (Sep 9th) and invited us (graduated and students) to join them tomorrow at the council to a proper celebration.
They had some exemplars of some cats breeds, and I brought pictures of them (the 2 first breeds pics were taken by me, the other 2, weren't, and the pictures are kinda bad.)

Scottish Fold


British Shorthair

This breed is very different, they have short legs, but they're cute.


Exotic Shorthair


They also had a few raffles there, and as I had friends working there, one of them gave me a coupon. I kinda have "bad luck" with raffles but I accepted it anyway.
For my surprise I was the 3rd one to win, and it was nice. I got a kit with some magazines, 2 collars and some cat food. I had never seen a cat food blueberry, orange or green tea flavored before. Now let's see if my cats will eat these things.

    Now, I'm not one for cats (being the "dog" and all) but I'm glad to hear you had a good time over there.

    Plus, your little fun fact about you being bad at raffles and yet being the 3rd one to win sort of sounds like my insane good luck which goes back and forth on me (one of the props of growing up with the Irish and Italians).

    Oh, man, we have a good friend of the family with a British Shorthair, and she is the bitchiest cat I know XD

    Yes, animal conventions. They aim to the students and such xD

    Ooooh. I'm not gonna lie, when I thought of a cat convention I imagined about 30 crazy cat ladies sitting in an ornate living room and discussing their cats together, surrounded by hundreds upon hundreds of cats.

    Heheh there were some "crazy cat ladies" there, but most of people were vets and students, so it was nice.
