My computer cost me about $600 and it was what I needed (discounting it being refurbished, but it's still kickass).

Also, you choose the specs you want for the laptop, same deal like a desktop.

AND BESIDES I'M PERSONAILIZING IT ONLINE. I gotta say 3.7 GHz Processor and 16GB of Ram sounds alright to me along with the graphics card I'm getting with it.

I made a personalized lappy with DP's link to the Sager, but then I was saddened by no Monthly Payment option.

Scratch that, all their laptops on the HP site have no processors above 2.7GHz. Nope.

You gotta get into the customization to see it.

One doesn't. One custom builds a desktop, and makes their laptop more of a utility player.

That said, there's sites that let you customize what's in the laptop. That's how I customized my Sager, after all.

Also, odds are you're not going to find many Laptop CPUs above 3 GHz. After all, faster speed = more power = more expensive.

The monthly payment plan, on the other... much harder. Enthusiast laptops tend to be "buy-at-once" since, well, the only people who would ever want an enthusiast laptop/desktop replacement tend to be people who can afford one.
