Bittersweet

This morning my cuddly little Smud-boy decided not to bite my fingers to wake me up, opting instead to bite me right on the nose.

I yelled and sat up, but he just made this sweet, innocent little face as if he were saying "Oh! Mommy, you're awake! It's so nice to see you!"

    Ah. the face, just like when humans have trouble waking someone else the face has become the metaphorical bucket of water for cats.

    Hey, don't blame me, I've never seen your nose. I can only go on what your cat tells me :p
