Since I need to get used to standing and walking around again, I went for one this morning. It took two and a half hours, and I was exhausted (and in a fair amount of pain), so I didn't get as much writing done today as I wanted to. Therefore, the next chapter will be tomorrow, instead of today - sorry.

    Hope the weather is at least halfway decent in your area if you'll be taking regular 2.5 hour walks. So, you're halfway done with the healing processes then?

    Mostly decent - a little cool, but it hasn't rained in a while. And yeah, I'd say I'm getting there - slowly - but I don't see my surgeon again for another three weeks.

    Is the pain from walking normal for you now, or is it just because you ought to have started with shorter walks?

    I'm honestly not sure - one reason I wish I was seeing the surgeon before I go back to work, but he made the call, not me.
