A few things arrived today.

A few things Dresden related that I ordered a while ago arrived today, the short story collection containing Curses, AAAA wizardry, the Welcome to the Jungle comic and the Dresden Files rpg.

They have left me with a lot of questions, answered just as many and gave me a nagging feeling that I should really revamp that Dresden Servant profile I did.

Some highlights.

Some serious spoilers from all over the place
We finally know what the Gatekeeper does for a living. He guards the timeline and shuts down both 6th and 7th law violators.

It's totally possible to do an equivalent to Time Alter on the fly in the Dresdenverse though most stick with just speeding up perceptions and boosting speed with magic.

Harry's estimates of what the Noose can do make it even more potent than I already thought it was. If Harry is correct it apparently also allows you to survive being hit by a nuke or literally anything but being choked with it, it increases your stamina to an infinite extent meaning you don't get physically tired or even need to sleep anymore (I wonder if that means that if the wielder uses magic they can keep casting spells as long as they have magic to cast them with rather than getting tired?). No wonder Harry wants the damn thing.

The Hecatean Hags from Welcome to the Jungle have "skin like tank armour", I have to wonder why none of the Denarians or other shapeshifters thought to give themselves skin that strong, it would have prevented them from being killed so easily by Kincaid in SmF.

Harry apparently got hit with a binding based around electric eels at some point when fighting Justin that worked on using pain to suppress the target. And Justin was apparently obviously evil (dresses in black silk, that beard/mustache combo that goes around the mouth and to the chin, has a staff with a head shaped like a Cobra's), something Harry admits should have tipped him off.

Cowl confirmed to be superhumanly durable, he tanked that car in Dead Beat with his face and torso, not a shield spell.

EDIT: Added a bunch of things to the Dresden Servant status sheet: http://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread...l=1#post980361

I thought that the Denarians had only one form each, they were not proper shapeshifters like Shagnasty or Injun-Joe, but one trick wonders like the Alphas.

EDIT: For the profile I would suggest making the Winter Knight mantle a NP, it is activated separately from his magic.

They apparently have some control over the details of their form according to the rpg, Diedre went from green skinned to red skinned for example.

And where are you getting that? They seemed to be drawing from the same well in the fight against the Ick (that or having the mantle provided a massive boost to Harry's will supply in addition to giving him access to an external power source). And he already has three NPs in the Sevant Stat Sheet.

Deidre for most fabulous Denarian ever.

Maybe I was mistaken, but even so, the ability to draw from an external power source as great as Mab is at least NP level.

As a Servant he only get's the default Winter Knight powers, not the ability to keep on drawing boosts from Mab.
