xm's randomity on Type-Moon and other weirdness

Well folks, the time has come. I'm going to do one last fanfic. And it's not based off of anything by Type-Moon.

Yeah, those two plot bunnies I teased about? The "Rider and Waver re-enact retro 60s Batman hijinx" and "Fate/Extra, but with modern fictional heroes and villains as Servants" concepts? Those are dead. I'm never doing them. Shed a tear, my dear readers.

But I know some of you might like the last fanfic I do! And you wanna know what's crazy? It won't be on Fanfiction.net. And it won't be here either. It will be on Blogspot. Why? A few things.

1: So I can print these !?!?!?!?, god damn it!

2: So I can space my paragraphs however the hell I want to!

3: I can use asterisks to denote timeskips instead of horizontal rulers, WOOOOOT!

4: Pics! (or it didn't happen)

5: And most importantly, music. I actually got this idea from a fanfic Keyne did. (Thanks Keyne!) Every now and then, while reading, you'll encounter something like this. [Cue for 0:20] You open the thing I linked in a new tab or window, and listen along as you read! See, I can't do that on FF.Net, but I can on Blogspot. [end cue]

So I'm not revisiting Type-Moon fanfiction like I said I would. Instead, I'm doing Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Again. I had started two PMMM series on FF.Net, yet ended up canceling both of them. (I got severely blocked on one, and ran out of ideas with the other.) Now all of my ideas are going into an AU retelling of PMMM, with one goal in mind: make the best fanfic I will ever make.

Hey, if it's gonna be my last fanfic before I take up original fiction entirely, might as well make it number one! Oh yeah, I do have a question; how do you design a Blogspot page? I always just used default templates, but for the site where I'll eventually host this fic, I want a picture of the girls on top, and maybe have Madoka on one side of the site, and Homura on the other. How do I do that? Anyone know? Or do I have to figure it out myself?

Whenever I do have the site ready, I'll start a thread in the doujin section to lead you the way. I'll also update the thread whenever I get a chapter finished. Word of warning, since I'm trying harder than ever (at least for my fanfics) with this, expect updates to be slow. Slower.

There are some other things I wanna tell you about the fanfic, but I'd rather wait till I get it out first. I've also written an author's note that explains everything in great detail. It's the longest AN I've done yet. >_< And I promised my fans (what few I have) on FF.Net that this final project of mine would debut in 2013. I already have the first chapter finished, but I guess I can edit it further . . . and who knows? Come January, I might debut with two chapters! Can't wait!

Oh yeah, remember when I asked you in an earlier blog entry to identify the speaker of some poem about dainty little girls and horrifying screams and all sorts of dazzlements abound? That was Kyubey speaking. Mind you, he doesn't talk like that in my current project, but yeah, just thought I'd let you know.
