I agree, I refuse to play it, until they stop being such douche bags about it. I was looking forward to it, too.

Not even going to "give" them that much. Screw playing their stupid game, until they stop being dumb about it.

It does suck. I loved the hell out of the first one. (I even found this amusing little gaffe in it.)



I've yet to play the second (but I do own it). The third... well, I'll get to that when I get to that.

I was going to buy ME3 and Crysis 2, but Crysis 2 got pulled before I could, and unfortunately, EA isn't going to give me nearly enough "value" with Origin. They give something about how Steam doesn't allow them to do certain types of downloadable content... which is pretty much BS.

The only dev I've heard make a similar complaint is Notch, maker of Minecraft.

They also say "They want to give their players a choice." Well, I want it on Steam, so you're giving me Hobson's Choice. I don't want Origin, I don't want Desura, and even if I bought a retail, boxed copy, I'd still "need" Origin anyway.

So nope. I'll probably wait for a few years, or something. Not into game dev power plays.
