I create a world of finite somethings

Discard the ideals smeared in pain

I find that "Another Heaven" is goddamn catchy. All three of the earthmind songs are, really, and I like that they each have lyrics that reflect the theme of the route.

Why I'm translating lyrics to music as Japanese practice during the break is always a question, since music lyrics always have shit for grammar. I really should be trying that 10th Anniversary Phantasm book, but it's big enough that I get intimidated.

At my mom's place, which means limited net for me. Although I guess that means good things, since I get a lot of writing done in the middle of the night when I have little else to do.

What I See ch 2 bit
The laid-back expression he kept had disappeared completely, replaced by a set jaw. Though his voice still came out easy. “You ever just, I dunno, close your eyes and listen?” Once more, he was going to lead her on some kind of tangential explanation. “Ever realize that sounds might be more important than you first think? Like, the sound of a heartbeat…you know, something simple that we don’t think of much when going to the doctor’s, but something that’s pretty important? Listening to something that says another is alive, real, like you are?”

“You think about strange things.”

“All the time. Well, most of the time.”

Rin found herself considering, despite herself. “Once, I guess.”

A faint smile. “Only once?”

“I usually don’t think about strange things.” Though once the words passed her lips, she thought perhaps what rated as ‘strange’ to her was probably very different to even other magi, much less some random person off the street. “Never thought too hard on that sort of thing. Gets depressing after a while.”

“Boo hoo. I’m shackled in a foreign country that thinks fish and chips are the best thing ever. Give me something, here.”

lol because that's all I'm giving, hahahaha.

I've done some more outlining for Hearts of the Suffering, got some specific images in mind. Still, though, I have a lot to go on that, how big it's turning out. It may turn out that I have to talk to a few people about collaborating on it, because I'm kind of wondering if I'm just doing more than I've thus far bargained for. I'm well aware that I'm better at character-driven stuff, and this is turning out to have more logistics in it than I really care for. Battle plans, magician abilities, political maneuvering...ugh. Waver and Rin and Luvia tsuntsuning at each other, real easy in comparison.
Spoiler:
Shirou and Saber trading thematic and emotional places, also really easy.
As much as people might say I'm good with battles, I'm of the school of thought that says writing them is like participating in them: The actual doing is terrible, the result and looking back at it after finishing might be worthwhile.

Went Left is already pretty much figured out except for figuring out a really suitable antagonist. Mostly suitable so that the funny and absurd works real well. Ayako best straight woman ever.

Also, yesterday was the most boring end of the world so far.

I'm going to have to listen to that song, never even knew it existed.

As for What I See, I will keep waiting for the next update, it has the potential to be my favorite fic in both Beast Lair and Fanfiction.net.

Its the HF OP for Vita's Realta Nua. :P

But yes, it is a very nice song, the full version being much better.

And nice snippet, best time of the year to keep the audience guessing!
