Parallel is a lovely little manga that was recommended to me some time ago by a friend, so I happened upon it by chance. It's a nice light read and it's pretty short, so avid manga readers could run through this in once sitting. Despite this though, this little gem continues to stick out in my mind as one of my favorites. So I thought I'd just take a moment to recommend it to all of you.

Basically, the story follows a young boy by the name of Nekota Shinnosuke as he tries to win love. He's a fairly typical kind of guy (immature and somewhat mature at the same time) so he's pretty likeable as a character. So one day he finally works up the courage to confess to the girl he likes, Hoshino Sakura, but gets rejected. But it turns out there's a reason why. And that reason why doesn't exactly make things easier, but it just might give him a second shot.

So if you're looking for a nice little slice-of-life manga or just have some time to kill, I recommend picking this up. ^-^
