A blog? Sure, why not?

Hey guys, been a helluva long while since I posted here, on either the Fanfic forum or here in the blog sphere. Hardpressed to say that I could have noticed new faces, but I definitely noticed some bannination happened. Weird to see that now, to say the least. >_>

I would like to call what happened Writer's Block, but it wasn't like I was out of ideas on what to write! As hinted in the last post I made before this year's first Chapter 2 post, I was trying to write something from Ilyasviel's perspective. I think I had issues with Iri and Kiritsugu's characterizations in her eyes and it would have been her point of view watching them summon Saber. At some point, it seemed like material that was best left as a "bonus feature" of sorts, something that isn't integral to the main story but wouldn't mind being read.

I think that's the same philosophy behind what's now the snippet before update 2 where Kotomine has a short chat with Tokiomi Tohsaka. The next update on that side of the story will be a far more important conversation than what was written, so that snippet serves little more than to explain a little thing that doesn't need explaining.

Gonna be interesting to write a fight between Saber and Matador... if not super difficult to the point where I tire myself out trying to come up with interesting attack verbs and bring what's in my head into the realm of the written word.
