...okay, not really, but the doctor did say that I was basically the perfect textbook example of anyone taking the surgery I had. IE no sensitive nerves buried in wonky-ass difficult to handle locations, no horribly mishapen jawbones, etc. It's one of the chief reasons (outside of capable work done by competent surgeons with plenty of experience) the actual healing process has gone so swimmingly so far, so that's gotta count for something. Thanks for the good genes, Mom and Dad and whomever else I am directly descended from in my family tree!

......mind you all, I still look like the unholy lovechild of Alvin the Chipmunk and Fat Bastard with my puffy face, but in a few days that should improve.
