An insight in the life, mind and bullcrap of Gater

Reminds me of the time when a Troll had popped up underground. Sent the militia of five against it, the only one that went there right away was a peasant who was currently eating. The other four had to pick up their rations first.

So this guy went down the stairs and elongated tunnels with a copper spear and a wooden shield, if in iron armor. The troll jumped him by the entrance into the caves that I had yet to learn to trap, grabbed his spear before the poor guy even had a chance to strike once, and threw it away. Then he punched him into his shield arm and broke the bone. Then he grappled his iron chain mail from the poor guy, held it as a weapon, and started beating the shit out of the already pretty rekt guard with an iron chainmail. Then once everything about the peasant guard's body was yellow, he trew the shirt away, grabbed the poor faggot's neck, and started choking him.
In game, choking the guard took about three months. By the end of it, he was a master wrestler, and my message log looked something like
The troll is choking the Wrestler! (120x)
Urist "Ithurts Tolive" McPeasant, Wrestler, is suffocating! (80x)
Then after all that time, the guard captain had finally arrived, and jammed the troll's skull in with the first strike of his +Copper Whip+. At the exact same moment the troll's hands let him go, the Peasant was slain.

Dwarf Fortress Adventurer mode, you can practically do ANYTHING (I once dual wielded two corpses and cleared out a cave of 17 kobolds[the corpses are of a kobold child unlucky enough to be in the cave entrance and one of their scouts stationed outside the cave]).
