I confess. This is the first time I have thought of the cons of MinorinXRyuuji. So what I have found out is the financial issue. Seems that the two have financial trouble. For Ryuuji, it's pretty obvious. We know what it's like inside his household. For Minorin, it took me 5 times of watching Toradora to finally notice that her house--and room--seem too plain, and it has a bit of that old/worn down look to it.


Due to the knowledge of who voices her--it's Yui Horie--and to the fact that someone in AnimeSuki mentioned that the friendship between Minorin and Taiga was born out of compassion that originated from similar family and household situations, I thought that Minorin's troubles came from bad parents or something.


Reminded me of Hanekawa's troubles. This was because of the same seiyuu, lol. So, now I can therefore conclude that Minorin's troubles are from bad parents, financial problems, or both.


Now that I'm reminded, I thought she was doing a lot of part-time jobs because she wanted to be out of her house (someone mentioned suggested this at AnimeSuki and I agree with it coz it makes sense, and also I understand first hand that this strategy is effective despite my experience being a little different). But those part-time jobs might also be because she needs the money. That's a lot of part time jobs. Either her parents don't earn enough or they don't earn anything at all.

So~ Who here loves Toradora to the point that they have watched the thing at least 5 times--and plans to not stop watching it, lol?
