The third Olympic Gold for Poland

Rate this Entry
Minutes ago, Michał Bródka scored an olympic gold for us, jumping unexpectedly from 4th position to 1st in speed skating competition. Our other gold winners are Kamil Stoch in ski jumping and Justyna Kowalczyk in ski running.

Justyna Kowalczyk is especially worth notice since she broke her damn feet in the process and still won the gold, and one upped that testosterone poisoned gorilla called Marit Bjorgen, who takes performance boosting drugs under excuse of asthma. Our Justyna is a fit girl, yet she looks good, unlike Marit.

That's our best Winter Olympics ever. We are a small country and our sportsmen are underfunded.

It's only natural. One cannot ski jump into space. And skating also won't help.
    They need more solid equipment

How do you call Vatican then?

And it's not that we don't have a Polish cosmonaut. Not popular one among the right wing since they claim he was a communist toadie, but I find communists better than Wałęsa and his cronies.

Half of the countries above Poland in the rankings posted are smaller population-wise, and in the case of Canada and Russia, have far lower population density. Poland isn't exactly small by any definition.

Yes, it's medium, but it's better to spend money on donating priests by government and rooting out imaginary Russian agents.

But still it's good we are pros in few winter disciplines than average in many.

People rage though that the guy who botched his jumps in team competition was picked solely because he is the former leading ski jumper's cousin and that's why he got the 4th slot in the team.

Krakow wants to host winter olympics in 2020. Good lucking finding money for that, it'll only increase our national debt even more. Euro 2012 was more of hidrance than any benefit.
