Second General Post - Concerning What Happened Yesterday In The Prototype Thread

I didn't get to do this yesterday, and after thinking about it, think it is too long/off-topic for the actual thread, but I still believe it's something that needs to be addressed.
I think the way you deal with me is always and will always be harsh; however, I think that's fine, after all, no matter how lowly you think of me, I'll always still think highly of you, after all, you're evidently a great person. You're funny, you're sarcastic but still willing to help on the translation thread, and I don't know why, but you take the time and money every time something comes out to buy it, something I don't think a lot of people here, me included are willing to do, and then take your time to scan it well, and then post it here so everyone can enjoy it. I don't know your motive for doing so, but I believe that act itself is more than admirable, so really, it's okay whatever you say is fine with me because I know that regardless of what you say, you still do a service to this forum and all the fans of Type-Moon works out there. What you say to me is, in my eyes beyond insignificant when compared to everything else that you've done for me and everyone else. So yeah, even if you don't think much of me, I think of you rather highly, and as long as you don't end going insane like food did, I think I'll always feel that way regardless of what you say to me.
Now why am I saying this? Well I was reading the Works consumed thread and there was this that got me thinking about my own situation:
Just because someone doesn't like you, doesn't mean you have to not like them back. It's hard with the internet that lets us construct ourselves to be any person, really. We view things like this as insults to our ideal internet selves, or the best person we put forward, and automatically defend that persona. But just because someone is harsh to you doesn't mean they're the worst person in the world. It really just means they don't like you, and seriously, since no one is completely likable, isn't that fine? Either way with the internet closer than ever it's easy to get lost in the person that you create for yourself online like Pai said, it's all about E-Peen. But seriously, is your E-Peen really that important? I mean, it's really not that hard to just close the window, and go listen to Sara Bareilles, watch Pretty Little Liars, or just flip through a trashy magazine. After all, how you react to something is up to you.
Secondly my competence with Japanese.
Again, I stand by what I said:
Words can just be said, they don't have to mean anything. Rather than trying to persuade people that I am this good or I am this bad, I've always just let them decide for themselves.
I'm sure that actions speak louder than words so that is why I always try to take the time to transcribe the Japanese from the stat sheets and put it above what I did.
So if it's bad, I have no excuses. And if it's bad, everyone can see, know, and, hopefully if they're nice enough, correct me if it's bad enough that the entire meaning is distorted. That's what I've been saying since the beginning.
So yeah, that's basically what I wanted to say but didn't in the Prototype thread. Jack's Noble Phantasms will be out next week.
