that discharges electricity that looks like the branches of a tree. The orb on the tip is her very heart itself. When out of battle it's always on her. The fin of the tail and the fin on the side of her head supply electrical energy. She can recycle the magical energy lost to her surroundings with high efficiency, and in environments with surplus magical energy like in the midst of combat by using Galvanism at the same time to imitate a Second Type Perpetual Motion Machine.

Blasted Tree
Thunder Tree of Crucifixion

Rank: D~B
Type: Anti Army
Range: 1~10
Maximum Amount of Targets: 30 people
Maiden's Chastity pierces the ground and the entire limiter is released discharging all the electricity.
A towering silhouette of a large tree rains down, scattering homing thunder. With a single enemy and short distance away, it can be activated without Maiden's Chastity.
Because of the limiter, releasing it means the power is tremendous.
However in this case the user will come to a complete stop. In other words "death." It is possible for this lightning attack to give birth to a second Frankenstein's Monster though her death means she cannot see the results of her actions.

The part about the limiter is new because if you use this as a D rank NP, she doesn't die.

Well that's it for this section, yay, next week is going to be the start of the Red Servants starting with Mordred.

But before that I have something I've been bouncing around my head for a while which is one of the themes of Apocrypha.
Nasu said that Rocco's character is "the elderly making problems for the young," and that got me thinking how that applies to Apocrypha in general and how it could be a theme.
First we have the Einzberns for making the Grail War in the first place, and then we have Darnic stealing it and seceding from the Association which pits his entire clan against the Association. Then we have Shishigou ancestors to made that pact, screwing the entire family and then Shishigou's dad for accidentally killing that adopted grandaughter, and now Shishigou is on this quest. Gordes's pride which comes from the downfall of his family and how he feels he must regain that honor. Then we have Fiore who wants to get surgery for her legs but can't because she'll lose her magic circuits, and Caules who is a really cool guy but will never get anywhere because he sucks as a magus. Needless to say this theme is pretty prevalent among the Masters. I think it's less so around the Servants, but it's still there, Arthur's influence on Mordred for example as well as Morgan's grudge that created her. Pandu's curse and how that caused Karna's birth and abandonment. Abortions etc and how Jack was created for that. Hundred Year War and Joan trying to save everyone, and a lot more stuff.
So yeah, I think that's a pretty good theme actually.

    Pretty astute.

I also noticed the similarities between Karna and Siegfried beyond their armor after reading the Volsung Saga. Sigurd devoted himself to his in-laws and was betrayed. He had made a mistake with Brynhild which caused the problem. Both Brynhild and his uncle gave him prophecies of his fate, yet he still continued.

So, I feel a lot of 'loyalty to group' is always there. How loyal will some members of Red Team be. How loyalty to Yggdramillenia brought destruction to its members.

Which makes me wonder if the answer is abandonment. Abandoning your group for something new, something you think is better. Black Team really doesn't have any better options then that. Though now I'm wondering why they aren't throwing away the towel and still continue to fight.

Caules and Fiore are on the edge of just up and quitting Yggdmillenia I think. And it's pretty clear that Kairi and Mordred have abandoned the Red Faction. Striking out and forging your own path is probably a more positive way of framing it than "abandonment".

Ah, I guess I should have made my own position clearer. I don't consider it a negative thing, so you're right, I should have said something other than abandonment.

Just the idea of what to do with your loyalty seems so prevalent.
