Verg, WWE has sucked basically since 2001. As soon as they lost all competition, it went right in the shitter. (What? TNA is competition? Sure, and I'm the Space Pope.)

There's a few bright spots here and there (CM Punk, before he left anyway) but then it basically became the John Cena show and it was scarcely worth watching anymore.

Was it the people losing for six months beating the people winning for six months?

Strangely enough, Cena wasn't the part of the problem here. Hell, he, Lesnar and Rollins put up a match that could go down as the best this year, and really got viewers hyped for the main rumble match. But the rumble match... oy vey.

Let's just say that even getting The Rock there to congratulate the winner didn't stop the avalanche of booing that started around the middle of that match, and continued for the rest of the night. The backlash after the show has been nuclear fallout levels. They dun goofed up even worse than last year.

But yeah, if people are booing it, then clearly it was either predictable or just utterly lackluster. And considering the relative dearth in talent once you get past the big names, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a combination of both.

Also, fuck you Darples. Ruthless Aggression era was awesome. Better than fucking Attitude, seriously people need to stop riding that nostalgia train and realize that Attitude wasn't all that great in the end.

But yeah PG era sucks wang. No wonder Shawn Michaels wanted to retire. Also CM Punk was always and will always be a Jericho wannabe. Great Wrestler though, but still a Jericho wannabe.
