EXTRA Shenanigans Part 3: It's an ALICE Sandwich!

Before I start, I would just like to say one thing: I miss my Crystal Ball
As far as I know, Alice and Alice are widely regarded as the easiest boss fight in the entire game, especially with a Saber, who can tank their spells and proceed to snap them like twigs. As you could probably tell by my mentioning it at the end of the last post, it... did not quite go like that during my latest playthrough!
Unlike the other Servants besides Saver, you literally need to finish Nursery Rhyme off before she activates her NP, otherwise she-- pardon my French--punts you in the dick so hard that you get booted back to the very start of the match. Metaphorically speaking, of course. Mostly.
Now, 8 turns is not exactly that much time, but anyone who's been playing normally can manage to easily kill her within that span of time. Except for maybe Caster, because you really need to ration her spells if you don't happen to have one of the MP-restoring staves, but that's neither here nor there. In most of my other playthroughs, I had to try really hard not to deal that much damage or waste too many resources; the limit I put in this specific fight was to allow her to use her Phantasm at least once, in case you couldn't tell. I tossed that out of the window with this particular iteration, because it ended up happening, anyway. Repeatedly.
I had enough points saved up to have potentially raised my AGI to B-rank, which probably would've upped Nero's damage output to a good enough extent, but I elected to raise her Mana, instead, so as to help her defend against Nursery Rhyme's onslaught of spells. Next run, though, I'll definitely make a note to try raising my AGI or using one of the Strength-boosting equips, because this fight went from epic to downright annoying.
Not only did I not have the MP to make much of a difference in rounds (I wasted it all trying desperately to kill her before the 8th round was over during one of the first iterations of this match), but Caster's spellcasting made it difficult to do EXTRA attacks in many rounds, and Alice casting a dinky little heal in one of her turns didn't help matters much, either. Granted, she would always heal for a piddling amount, but it was definitely enough to stall me out for several repeats.
After roughly 30 minutes and 6-7 encore performances of going absolutely nowhere, I finally decided enough was enough, methodically recorded the Alices' actions over a single set, and, on the next repeat, utterly wasted them . And it was just in the nick of time, too; I was very much out of resources by the time I finally finished Nursery Rhyme! Also, on this note, I already knew I could've looked up the whole set of rounds online, but felt it would be cheating if I didn't at least try to win normally. HONOOOOR, and all that.
If freaking Caster can give me this much trouble, I shudder to think of what facing Lu Bu will be like
