With my workplace closed for the week for renovations, I thought "Great - at least I'll be able to get lots of writing done, on top of getting a full workout week for a change. I may even get myself ahead a chapter!"

. . . Yeah, I really should know better.

I went to get my flu shot on Monday - a necessity, when you work in what really should be classified as a biohazard area - and spent most of yesterday in bed. Exhaustion, headache, dizziness, fever . . . I forgot that they usually hit me like this, but it effectively means that I'm going to do little to nothing for the whole week while I shake it off. Sorry.

And now, let's see how long I can stay awake today . . .
