Okay, let me just post these two images first.
Anyways, today was another day of good coincidences.
We went to Yokohama, which was shiny and sunny and breezy and the pinnacle of beautiful weather.
But before that, we stopped at the Shinjuku station for this.
They had free CS stickers covering the walls on the 6th but I didn't realize this and unfortunately but not surprisingly they were all gone. I still got some nice pictures, though.
Back to Yokohama.
There was a German festival going on (good coincidence #?), so we ordered an enormous sausage dog, fried chicken and passionlip-flavored beer.
The beer was disgusting. I made it 75% through, gave up, then had to chug the rest anyways because they were recycling the cups and had no dump spot. I don't know if I will ever drink beer again.
A pony.
My loot from the Yokohama Pokemon center which we were going to skip but then decided to go to. My friend found the Ditto-themed pokemon that she wanted really badly (good coincidence #?). The store clerk was also kind enough to give me an extra bag for my merchandise.
We spent too long at the Pokemon center then missed a train transfer, so we decided not to spend the other 2 hours going to Tochigi, and instead doubled back to Ueno.
Half of my sad, 300-yen, 300-calorie onigiri dinner at Ueno Park. Plum and salmon.
After Ueno park we went to Akihabara, where we witnessed the glory that was the Mario Karters on the street. The guy dressed as Yoshi waved at us before zooming away as the light changed. (best coincidence)
The Akihabara stores were thankfully not 90% girl-themed and the Fate doujin we found there was somewhat more wholesome. I don't have doujin pictures this time but have this instead.
(hint: look under the TV)
There were some interestingly-dressed girls above us on the escalator.
The Touken Ranbu store. They were playing the citadel music and it looked very classy in general. I'm tempted to buy a hairpin since I actually use those but they are quite expensive for plastic. I'd go for it if they were wood or metal...
This is for Reiu.
The Fate shrine at Gamers. They're planning a whole bunch of new FGO-based goods but they all come out in June or so when I'll be gone.
On our way around the area, we spotted some interesting motorcycles.
My feet hurt and I have a blister, but hey, I saw real-life Mario Karters so all is well with the world.
