On the road to developing a proper project (Fan Dev Log #000)

So... for those of you who care, I am a game developer on the side of me being an author, so this post is the first post of (hopefully) many more on the subject of game development. I know this is something that I need to decide what I want to do with, but seriously, I can't stop myself from doing both.
Now, anyway, there's a reason why I call this a "fan" dev log. It has to do with the fact this is about a fangame I'm beginning to develop that I figured you guys would be happy to critique me on... which, sadly, has nothing to do with Type-MOON right now. This game is, in fact, a massive retelling of the entire Kingdom Hearts franchise chronologically from Unchained Chi (the pronunciation for the X-looking letter in the Greek Alphabet) to the end of the Xehanort saga... and it will be made in RPG Maker MV, since, for starters, I can't model worth a damn, and I also can't acquire Unreal Engine 4 or anything like it anyway.
Now, I'm sure you're asking yourselves, "How will the story progress from Unchained Chi to the end of the Xehanort Saga when there's a massive time gap between Unchained Chi and Birth by Sleep?" Well, I'm getting to that point, I guarantee it. The first thing I plan to do is make sure that all of my Unchained Chi knowledge is up to date. After that, when Unchained Chi is done officially, I plan to do some family tree design to root to the time of Birth by Sleep... from the Player character of Unchained Chi to a family to be introduced in this retelling.
Anyway, in about seven days or so, I'll post more progress that has been made into this blog. So, until then, peace.
