Easy come, easy go.

Decided the time was about right to buy a PSP.
Why?
Well...
- There's still no good emulators for it. At all. Save for one, which is coded in Java.
- With the Vita coming out, Sony is almost definitely going to try to kill it within the next 9-18 months.
- I still want to play Fate/EXTRA. And will hope that Fate/Extra CCC gets translated stateside.
- Ultimately, my DS Lite is a bit worn out.
- Still want to play the Disgaeas, too. (Though I have the second one legitly for PS2). The DS port of Disgaea 1 is just... bland, and there is no DS port of Disgaea 2. There's also obviously no port, period, for Disgaea Infinite.
So I just went and blew $600 on the unit, some accessories (Extended battery is a must, for example) and nine games. Yes, nine: All three Disgaea titles (including Infinite) off eBay, and from NewEgg, Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood!; Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max; Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror; Gran Turismo; Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker... and Fate/EXTRA Limited Edition (the priciest game I bought at $40).
...Oh yeah, and I bought a 32 GB Memory Stick Duo, which was nearly a C in itself. For y'know... homebrew purposes.
Still, glad I'll finally get to play it. I've avoided LPs of it for a good reason. And it'll do a lot of other stuff once I homebrew it too, so really, it simply took some years for it to transition from "want" to "need" but that finally occurred.
Only question is if it'll get here on Friday, or if I'll have to wait for Monday. I know for almost a fact that my NewEgg stuff won't arrive until Monday, given that UPS does not ship on Weekends. The Disgaeas were gotten with Saver shipping (they're not critical after all) so that may be up until next Wednesday. The NewEgg stuff is technically 2-3 day shipping, and Sony's online store (where I got the PSP and accessories from) estimated it'd ship by 4/6. (It'll also need a signature... bleh. Hopefully they don't mind my brother signing for it, considering he's 14 and all, since I doubt my work will be too happy with me staying home to do so myself.)
So I guess it means my DS gets one more week, approximately, with me before I semi-retire it. Which is good, as I'm somewhat sick of playing just Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary... although there's a version of that for the PSP that I can track down too, heh.
Feli won't be forgotten... she'll just be moving to a new home. ♥
