Fae Era

12000 F.E.

Six faeries tasked with forging the Holy Sword neglect their work to go play.
Earth's surface is reduced to a sea of nothingness.

The faeries complain and blame the beast god Cernun'nos for not making them work harder.
They conspire to murder the god, and live on his corpse.
"Now we don't have to float around anymore!"
The remaining human priestess of the beast god is disassembled into a tool (model case) to birth (produce) more "humans."
This marks the birth of this world's cloned humans, who lack reproductive functions.
Cernun'nos leaves behind a curse, and the priestess makes a prophecy.

11000 F.E.

First Great Calamity
Of the first six faerie A-Rays, two die.
A-Rays are singular, unique beings who do not spawn further generations after death.
However, rare examples of "returned ancestors possessing powers on par with the progenitors (Returned A-Rays)" are known to occur.

Henceforth, the land of faerie meets certain doom every 1,000 years.
Faeries with wounded souls begin to appear. They are unable to respawn successors.

6000 F.E.

Spring War
The land expands until its borders reach Manchester's current location.
Britain's faeries encounter a race of Northern faeries, who survive off the bones of the last dragon.
A war breaks out, ending in victory for the British (Southern) faeries who make use of humans. All of the Northern fae are massacred.
The dead bodies of the innocent Northern faeries speak:
"You're next."

5000 F.E.

The Rain Clan and Mirror Clan build a kingdom in the ruins of the Spring War.
The Rain Clan founds the city of Orkney.

4000 F.E.

Morgan, the Fa of Paradise, drifts ashore in Orkney.
The other clans band together to slaughter the Rain Clan for sheltering Morgan.
Morgan of Pan-Human History uses rayshifting to inform this Morgan of Pan-Human History.

Morgan begins operating under the psuedonym "Tonelico."
She hibernates between centennial Calamities, and repeats this cycle for several millennia.
During this period, she summons Grimm the Sage.

2000 F.E.

Summer War
Queen Mab and her Northern fae starts a war of aggression against the Southern fae.
Tonelico the Savior mediates to end the war, and the current Six Clans system is established.
On the cusp of victory over the South, Mab is "betrayed" by her human lover and defeated by Tonelico in her moment of weakness.

1000 F.E.

A Returned A-Ray is born among the Fang Clan: Wryneck the Brave, inheritor of organs of the waste heat of the planet.

800 F.E.

Tonelico fights and triumphs over Waste Heat Lord Wryneck. They become fast friends.
Henceforth, Wryneck does not accompany Tonelico on her adventures due to his position as Fang Clan Chief, but does everything he can to help her from behind the scenes.
He rationalizes it to himself, "I can never accept the mission of the Faerie of Paradise, but I'm fond of Tonelico's strength." (to Ector, his feelings are as plain as day)

400 F.E.

Autumn War
A group called the Round Table, promoting human coexistence, begins an armed uprising.
The human knight Uther triumphs over the faerie clans, and is to be recognized as the first king of a unified Britain.
Mash is sent across time to this era, through the Water Mirror.
She meets Tonelico the Savior.

Coronation Day
Months later, the arbitration of unified Britain takes place the day before the coronation at Londinium.
In attendance are Uther, Tonelico, Ector, Grimm, and the First Fae Knight.
Wryneck can't stand Uther (for obvious reasons) and refuses to attend the coronation. Instead, he goes off to hunt Mors on the western coast.

"But... even if I send a delegate, it would be poor form if the Fang Lord didn't show up, wouldn't it..."

On the dawn of Coronation Day, Wryneck reluctantly makes up his mind to return to Londinium.
Uther is poisoned. Everything is over by the time Wryneck arrives.
Politics prevent Wryneck from defending Tonelico as all of the faeries accuse her. Wryneck comes to agonize over his decision for the rest of his life into the Queen's Era.

"Maybe if I had been there, things would have been different...
...No. Nothing would have changed. Nothing at all.
I, a faerie of Britain, could never have saved Tonelico."

Civil war breaks out, resulting in the collapse of the Round Table.
Londinium, headquarters of the Round Table, is ruined.

1 F.E.

The Great Calamity strikes, destroying the faerie civilization.

Queen's Era

1 Q.E.

Morgan uses the mana of the Phantasy Tree to rebirth Faerie Britain anew.

Winter War
Morgan invades Britain from Orkney, conquers the entire isle of Britain, and rules as its new queen.

400 Q.E.

Human ranches proliferate.
Tensions between the Northern fae and Camelot reach a breaking point.
Mab and Morgan make a secret pact.
Mab declares, "we shall cut our ties, and I'll show you that I can maintain the Northern faeries on my own."
Mab founds a fortress city and enters an eternal slumber.
Edinburgh, the Queen's City, appears in Britain.

800 Q.E.

The Fang Clan commits a brutal genocide of the Winged Clan.
The Winged Clan goes extinct, leaving Murian as their only survivor.

1000 Q.E.

Mors Campaign
One of the Great Calamities. The queen's army fights a war against a "king" of the Mors.

Aged Wryneck, loyal to Morgan since the Fae Era, takes to the field. His resolve is grim.
"Begone, King of the Mors. This is her nation, the land she suffered so much to build. I'll never let you take it from her."

The greatest of the Fang Clan falls in battle, clearing the way for his successor, Woodwose.
Woodwose kills the enemy king and suppresses the Mors.

The Mors King is said to have cursed the Fang Clan upon its death.
"You're next."

1600 Q.E.

A powerful faerie is born to the Fang Clan - Barghest the Fae-Eater.

Aurora visits a Mirror Clan town. There, Melisune is reborn from the dark sludge.

1800 Q.E.

Caterpillar War
Caterpillar-like Mors mass in huge numbers. Morgan faces a laughably mundane pinch. (She hates bugs)
At the start of the war, Morgan enters the battlefield, fires off a Roadless, says "NOPE" with a straight face, and goes back to Camelot.
Foul Weather, the lord of Cornwall, is slain by Gawain. Cornwall falls.
With the knighting of Barghest as Fae Knight Gawain, the Fae Knights are revived.
Gawain's exploits purge the disgrace of the Land-Eating Calamity.
Morgan makes Gawain the Duke of Manchester.

1899 Q.E.

A contest of etiquette is fought for the chiefdom of the Fang Clan.
Woodwose proposes the contest, arrogantly granting Boggard a handicap.
Boggard desperately trains himself to win the contest. He surpasses Woodwose's expectations and does quite well. In fact, he becomes the favorite to win.
However, Boggard misplaces a fork in the final table setting round.
Woodwose just barely wins the chiefdom, gloating "I guess you're just a club-pawed rock lion after all, wahahahaha!"
Why are furries so heartless?

1900 Q.E.

Mab's successor Knocknarea is born in the Queen's City.

Fae Knight Lancelot is knighted.

Fae Knight Tristan is knighted.
Darlington falls to the Calamity of Resurrection and is relocated to New Darlington.
Sir Tristan is granted New Darlington as her fiefdom.

2001 Q.E.

Ainsel, chief of the Mirror Clan, delivers a prophecy.
"Born is the savior of Britain.
The true king will appear to strike down the false king."

2011 Q.E.

The Mirror Clan is wiped out.

2017 Q.E.

Crypter Beryl Gut arrives in Anagnostic Belt Britain and summons Morgan of Pan-Human History.
PHH Morgan independently rayshifts herself to 4000 F.E. Morgan (Tonelico) and informs her of Pan-Human History, before disappearing.

Chaldea makes landfall in Faerie Britain.
