My lord. Sword Dancers is pretty wild.

When I woke up today, I did not expect to find out that the creator of Getsuyoubi no Tawawa (Himura Kiseki) had created some fanworks of Fate/Stay Night while looking through a TYPE-MOON iceberg. (Please note that these are not Ero-doujins no matter how lewd they may seem)


Fate/Stay Night - Sword Dancers - It's F/SN, but with a Female Archer. Well, except for the fact

that she's actually Illya who turned into a Counter Guardian (Counter-Counter Guardian?) who gets in EMIYA's way while he's on the job.

The first volume is pretty light-hearted and enjoyable in its own right. Past volume 2, however, things get more... cinematic? The story ramps up a lot and the art is pretty solid. Apparently the author was going for a bit of Trigun from what I could remember from the afterword. I've never read Trigun before but I do know this - the way Himura Kiseki draws the action sequences is pretty cool.
Felt like the plot was getting a bit too convoluted and complicated for my small brain - I have no idea what's happening and how Zouken and Zelretch tie into it. Either way, it seems like I won't be able to finish it anytime soon. Pain.
I must say though that his Illyas are very cute and I would like to pinch her cheeks.

Unmistakably, the author's fetishes are present. Sasuga. Well, I guess this can be considered an extension of the first volume of Sword Dancers, although this might've come earlier due to how the art looks? Either way, I'm not a manga/doujinshi historian. Cute is simply Justice, and this is definitely a just manga! The expressions are great and the art - although not as polished or however you said it compared to Sword Dancers - is totally serviceable!! (And cute, as I've expressed earlier)
Going in, I expected some shenanigans between the cast of Hollow Ataraxia but honestly this works as a Stay Night thing since we don't really see anybody like Caren or Angra Mainyu.
Anyways, there's not much to be said here. Slice of life shenanigans that are cute (and sometimes lewd).
it's a one-shot omake so it's what you'd expect. Nice.

Fate/stay night - Sakura poisoning. Zero - Aight, this one's a doozey. It's basically a doujin that explores what happens after Heaven's Feel. Sakura and Shirou are together but she's still held down by her past trauma, with Rin trying to help her out. I'm not that bothered by it but it's got some grotesque scenes so don't read this is you're in the mood for something more lighthearted. My obligatory warning has been fulfilled.
Anyways, it has some heartfelt moments. Not sure about what others think but I feel it's not that bad. I'd definitely prefer something like Sword Dancers but this is fine too.

Blogging isn't as bad as I thought. Kinda fun just typing out whatever without much thought. Whoever is reading this, don't take what I say too seriously. I'm not a reviewer/critiquer, just some guy on the internet talking about stuff. Might do this more often in Beast's Lair to just write out my thoughts to nobody in particular.
