So I just caught a glimpse of the latest DmC trailer and it hasn't really changed by opinion. It looks like it will be an interesting game, but I just don't feel like they should be passing it off as Devil May Cry. Ninja Theory puts out some good work and they get better with each go, but I don't think they can deliver the over-the-top action I've come to expect from the series.

I dunno. I'll get the game, but I just wish they'd go ahead and call it something else. :/

    Meh. My personal view is play it and if I like it I like it.

    Also...Is the trailer name a Reference to the OST from DMC 1?

    And I swear someone here starts fanwanking or debating I'm going to stab them...

    In total agreement. I'm not sure why they're calling it DMC when they've basically made a new character. There's plenty of clones out there and Capcom can still back it without slapping on a big-name series skin on it.

    Bayonetta didn't need to be called Devil May Cry, and it was more Devil May Cry than 4 was.

    Meh.
