Oh, this random comment led me to an epiphany about Fake Ayaka's identity.

When messing with Zelretch in volume 1, the finishing touch that lets Caubac secure his timeline is giving the intruder glasses. Zelretch asks why the glasses are important and Caubac says he doesn't know, that was simply the starting point back-calculated from his designated finish line. But now that we know her origin, we can see why the glasses matter.
We know that Fake Ayaka's existence depends on A rationalizing Real Ayaka's hypnosis "I'm in love", and the same effect wouldn't have been produced in a world in a world Ayaka doesn't wear glasses. This suggest A was incapable of serious believing himself to have feelings for a girl without glasses. A was thoroughly Mashinpillled. A man who would make Formless proud.
