Ol' Theo's bought to lay something real heavy down on ya.

Some time ago, my mom was informed that she was two months behind on mortgage payments. Or something like that. The exact numbers don't particularly matter.

This was, of course, complete bullshit, as she'd made both of those payments on time. Of course, good luck arguing with the assholes at the bank. For almost two years she's been trying to rectify this error, which they keep bothering us about. She's made calls to whoever she could think of every week, only to be given the run around or otherwise ignored.

Of course, this has been screwing us up as we try to make the actual payments when they're still trying to tell us this bullshit about late payments. Now, I don't know if this buttfuckery was born of incompetence, pride, or greed and I don't particularly care. It's utterly inexcusable.

But it seems that my poor mom has given up. She's made some sort of payment plan (she also said something about bankruptcy, but I gather it's not normal bankruptcy) to make for all the money they say she owes. I was pissed, naturally, and asked her why she folded. She told me you just can't win against the big banks.

I'm even more pissed, now. My mom doesn't like to talk about finances around me, she knows it worries me, but how can I not those bastards grinding her down?! It makes me sick, to see my mom so stressed over this fucking error. Her health isn't looking too good these days, and I doubt that this idiocy is helping any.

I'm going to do whatever I can to help, but I will not ever trust a bank in my life.
