Of Scumbag Teachers, Facebook Drama and Asocial Little Me

I'm not a social person. That is the fact. I'd rather bury myself in books and sketchpads and pencils for weeks than hanging out at malls every day during holidays. I do enjoy spending time with my closest friends but I don't feel inclined to checking on them via text messaging or the online social networks daily.
Which is why I'm banging my head against the wall when my best friend informed me of our mate's recent trouble: She had been accused of slandering by her Japanese teacher, and the matter would be taken to the courts. Long story short, said teacher had been extorting money from her and several others so she had recklessly decided to warn a kohai on Facebook. On the walls. Not very smart, sadly. No names were mentioned, but the teacher somehow found out she was the topic of the conversation and immediately took out the big gun. My friend has been very distressed this several days. Those of our circle, excluding me, tried to support her within their power. One of them is currently persuading the kohai to coax the teacher (because she's sensei's favorite pupil) into dropping the matter. For now we can only wait and hope for the best.
Most of my life, I see teachers as a parent figure. I am aware there are less than ideal people in the profession, but most of my mentors are teachers, giving them certain level of respect in my perspective. That is why I find extorting teachers especially despicable. I am also a victim to one of these scumbags, admittedly caused by my own eagerness to learn to the dismay of the family account. I'm not going into details because ranting on that sad excuse of existence will lead to a wall of curses and death threats.
Anyway, I will try to repair my PC (I am currently borrowing a very laggy laptop) and try to reconnect with my peers. Hopefully I can weed out my rather anti-social habits before leaving for college where assignments and projects will inevitably cut my online time.
