-Scratches head- To be honest, I don't know how to even start, even after reading until Volume 7 of Sword Arts Online.

For those who don't know, Sword Arts Online, or SAO (I'll call it this from now on) is a Light Novel about people playing an MMORPG, hence Online. However, instead of the usual online, the Players are sent to the world by a Nerve Gear System, allowing their five senses to be felt in the game world, basically, you actually went to that game. When you eat there, you will fell full, even though you're not eating. If you get tired, the avatar also get tired. It's like .Hack series, only a major difference I can think of is this (Not very experienced with .Hack series)

The players cannot log out.

They are trapped in this game, and if they forcibly removed it, they get their brain fried by electric shock from said Nerve Gear. Such a scary thought.

...Best if you read light Novel in baka-tsuki before I ramble too long.

Anyway, since Fate-Extra is going online with data, this actually seems to coincide with SAO, due to technology and a few stuff.

...Though, now the line is set, I don't think I am willing to start. There are some walls that I need to overcome.

First off, since Extra has the real war in war (or something, it's been a while since I play so I might forgot. Can anyone clarify) thus it won't fit with the more peaceful real world in SAO. My idea was for the Holy Grail War Online battle to be a test or an MMORPG, but still not enough enough (and I feel like it's not satisfactory)

Second, Kirito's reason. What is the reason he join. Why? How? I planned for him to either by accident or was asked to investigate because of some bug or the Laughing Coffin.

Third, Servants themselves. My mind's a complete blank here. Who should be Kirito's servant? What are the servants? Should there be 7 servants (prototype idea), or should it be the 108 number. Or just two, with both chasing in a game of cat and mouse? I'm tearing my head off just to find a reason.
