So I should be writing right now. Really, I should. I have all of my messengers off, Dragonforce is playing on Pandora, but yet I'm having trouble. It's not writer's block persay, but this story I'm working on.

It's a fantasy story.

And Fantasy as in Sword and Sorcery and not of the Urban variety with vampires and guns. This isn't my genre. Which isn't an excuse, but I've already had to scratch the first beginning and try it again. Just for some reason this story is being illusive to me.

These characters and world aren't the ones I usually drabble in. I don't know the heroine like I would know Forest, and there's no technology. It's like "Berserk" except with a girl and not Guts. Or at least that's sort of what I'm aiming for.

I just need to get my groove. Story is due at the end of June.

    Thanks guys, I know what the plot is and everything, but just writing it is trouble. Plus Sword and Sorcery does not lend to my trade mark dialogue.

    I tried writing "fantasy" fantasy a long time ago.

    Afterwards I closed the Open Office document and shook my head, never touching that thing again; there was nothing good that came out of it. I think the story was about a half-vampire dude with an intelligent yeti as his best friend.

    ...okay, the yeti might have been one good thing to come out of it.

    Yetti's are fucking awesome.

    No, this needs to be Berserk, LotR type stuff. With over the top villains and the only thing I really have clear is the damned blood drinking sword.

    Needs to have a villain with a hammer, maul, or something similar. All for brutality.
