I find it amazing that one of the best Visual Novel's I've ever played would be a non-profit Doujin Project released online. One of the best and it didn't cost me a cent- You'll enjoy it, I'm sure ^^ As would Sei.

I'd say that depends on your likes and personality, really.
I didn't even try to get a certain character, and I got, in order: Hanako, Lilly, Shizune, Emi, then Rin.
