This is going to be one of those weeks.

My sister goes in for surgery tomorrow. It's cosmetic and voluntary - nothing to panic over. But it means that she'll be gone until Friday or Saturday, and guess who got elected to take care of her rabbits? Not that I mind. They're generally a sweet pair, and very cuddly (well, Gimli is. Tinkerbell, while cute, is not a social girl). But it's going to cut into my writing rhythms, which means my update schedule's shot to heck for the week - like the amount of energy drain this new procedure set at work does isn't bad enough.

*sigh* Sorry, all - it'll probably be a couple of days before I even start on the next chapter of "Trinity."

On the good news front, my degree arrived in the mail today. I'm still debating what kind of paper airplane to turn it into . . .

    Well, she had to name him that - he's a dwarf rabbit.

    And Gimli would probably let you. As my sister puts it, he thinks he's a dog - very friendly and open to being petted and cuddled. An unusual temperament for a rabbit, apparently. And knowing Tinkerbell, I believe it, because she's as timid and skittish as they come.

    Turn it into the kind that flies really, really straight and far. If it's made of high quality slightly-thick paper it'll last that much longer. :3

    I think it's actual parchment, so I'm not sure how well it will fold.
