So, after two months of preparation, I finally decided to go for 'THE END' of Minecraft. 39 ender eyes, an hour of searching and about two hours of running around later, I finally got through the portal and faced the Ender Dragon.

It was a tough fight. My enchanted bow with Power IV, Fire II, Punch II only managed to take its health down by about 3% each hit, and the Ender Dragon was continuously getting healed by the towers. Add in the Enders that crowd that dimension, and I was soon down to my last few hearts by the time I managed to get to the middle. Once there though, it became a lot easier. I kinda cheated by bringing with me 90 blocks of obsidian, and by getting on top of the tower I managed to isolate myself from the Enders that were doing the most damage. From there on, it was relatively easy. I destroyed the 5 towers I could reach with my bow, and gobbled potions and golden apples like there was no tomorrow. A few minutes later, I had finally done it. The Ender Dragon was dead.

... And then the damn thing spawned the end portal on the blocks I was standing on. The only problem with this is that the end portal spawns at sea level, and I was standing on a platform 20 blocks off the ground.

... So, I kill the biggest, baddest boss in the game, and I get killed by the ground as it rushed up to meet me. Good going, me...
