Stuff

I was gonna write more blog-posts of plumbing renovations, but never got up to it. Now renovations are over, I have a new shiny (and expensive) bathroom, and I have moved back home. I have cleaned a lot, but my apartment is still a big mess. *sigh* I hate construction dust with passion! And I haven't even unpacked all my stuff. *another sigh*

But now I have a dishwasher! We haven't installed it yet, some electrical works are needed, and we have to rip down a part of one cupboard. But when it's installed: no more mountains of dirty dishes. I hope...

My four-week summer vacation is almost over, it's last week going now. Haven't done much, only rested and cleaned my apartment. Got also a cold for a few days, it's always so lovely to be sick on vacation. Not.

I'm spending this last week in my brother's house to take care of their cat (and fishes), when they're in Spain. It was wonderful to have an opportunity to have real barbeque at Midsummer's eve! Rare stuff, since I live in an apartment without own yard.

Tomorrow I'm going to Seili, where my friend is working this summer. She studies museology, and is also doing guide jobs occasionally. Most of people on Seili are biology students and researchers, but because the island has a dark history, lots of tourists visit there too.

Turku Archipelago area is said to be one of the most beautiful places in Europe. I'm driving through part of it, and I'll take my "real" camera with me, so maybe I'll post some pictures here later.
