Paid nearly $60 for The Darkness 2, and it was a great run, great sequel. Loved everything about it, except the game was obscenely short.

Maybe 9 or 10 hours long, if you count all the optional dialogue. Another 3-5 depending on how many people you have running the Vendetta campaign and doing Hitlist stuff. I suppose they figured Co-op would suffice for length, or they had a pacing issue, I dunno.

Then again, the first Darkness game was similarly short and the multiplayer was even worse.

    I too have similar sentiments about the series. Badass, but short as hell. Then again, I am used to RPG-length games, so meh.

    Still, I guess that's why I rented them. :/

    I got that preordered on Steam. I'll get around to playing it... eventually.

    I've got way, way too many games to catch up and play on before I give that a go. Especially if it's that short.

    god do I wish I had rented this game, will be selling it back soon. had a great time with it, was fun, but I finished super hard mode in a day.

    Eh, I'll keep it like I did the first game, just so I can go back and replay whenever the urge hits me.

    Can only hope that, when they inevitably make a third one, they'll figure out that the length is the worst part of this and make it longer.
