Life in Another Country

So. Apparently I'm now an international student in Singapore.
Yeah. I'd be happy for any tips from Singaporean BLers.
So far, I like the clean environments and convenient transportation. Not so much for the prices here, everything is expensive. Stupidly expensive. Especially compared to prices in China. Which reminds me: Guangzhou, Huizhou and Humen got the best food at the lowest price. The sushi in Guangzhou is much cheaper and more delicious to the one at home. I'm sure my grandmothers will enjoy the Hakka cuisine when they're seeing my brother next month. Let's not even start on the shopping. My mother and her friends would have a field day there, though I'm pretty sure they won't buy much after the last two days shopping spree. (And I thought she'd hold back my aunt from purchasing too much. It was real fun packing last night.)
This would be the second time my mom watch her child leave home to study. She was quite emotional when my brother left for China. She's pretty much nagging me and my sis to talk with him online whenever we're in the vicinity of a computer. Guess it'll just be y little sister now. That kid was quite gleeful when I left. ... I admit I was a bit teary at the airport. Seeing someone else cry does that to me. Now I have to download the messenger installers since mine poofed out of existence from my external hard disk. A lot of my installers disappeared, in fact. Either I forgot them or my new antivirus ate them. Oh well, let's just live with it for now.
I'm looking forward to college.
