This morning I looked at my bank account balance and saw that it had gone from 5 digits before the decimal place to 4 digits. I then thought about what I had spent it on and as I sorted through my memories I caught sight of a pile of cards in the corner of my bedroom. This led me to then consider the value of those innocuous bits of cardboard, and I came to the realisation that the contents of that pile were probably worth more than most 2nd hand cars driven by those aged 15-25.

Really though. $1000 over just the last month on MtG cards? What the heck have I've been doing? The only reason I even went near the cardshop again was for this card, so how did I get sucked into the habit again? How much money is it if you count the thousands I spent in my early teens?

... On the other hand... There are a lot of hot girls and guys who come down to the local shop for Friday Night Magic and Commander Arena Mondays...
