Beam's Blog of Writing and Other Things.

Those of you who have been following my writing-related blogs probably saw this coming from like a mile away, and I also have the information posted to my FF.net profile, but also just for reference here: I'm going to be taking a break from writing FSN for a little bit. It's all I've been writing for the past few months, and I think I've finally burned out on it.

So yeah, I'm going to take a small break and dabble in some other fandoms for awhile, instead of trying to force it and having it all end badly. And sadly, this does mean most of my FSN related stories will probably be slow (... slower, fine) to update but hey, if the spark isn't there it isn't any fun for me, and I'd rather have fun with this than force my writing.

I'll probably get back into it once school picks up again. And I'm not completely putting off those dares I owe, since I tend to do well with short snippets and one-shots. God knows I've had an idea about that dom!Rin dare Hymn gave me for a long while, I'm just having a hard time putting it into words.

Next time I write anytime soon, it'll probably be for Legend of Korra. I have an idea or two of AU Korrasami, and at least one of them promises to be pretty short and simple like "Moonlight" was, and I really enjoyed writing that.

Sorry again to everyone, but hopefully after I rest up a bit the desire will come back stronger. Right now it just isn't there, and any time I force anything, it isn't fun and looks like crap.

And hey, mostly, I do this for the fun of it.
